The Gym Leases 29,000-SF Freestanding Building

ENGLEWOOD, NJ-The Gym has signed a full-building lease and is opening for business in the freestanding 29,000-sf asset located at 20 Nordhoff Place here. The location represents the tenant's second. The Gym's original location is in Montvale, NJ, where the company is based.
The Gym, a fitness center, was represented by John Luongo and Jerry Putterman of Grubb & Ellis' Fairfield, NJ office. The owner of the building, the Paramus, NJ-based S. Hekemian Kasparian Troast Co. was represented in-house. The terms of the lease were not disclosed.

"Third and fourth facilities are coming soon," Luongo says. And according to the Gym's website, the company is also planning to open its first out-of-state facility later this year in Armonk, NY. The specific location was not disclosed.
