Expanding HSBC Strikes Deal to Brand Walgreens ATMs
HSBC Bank USA today announced a deal to brand ATMs in 59 Walgreens stores in northern New Jersey. The branding agreement is with Cardtronics of Houston, Texas, the world's largest owner and operator of ATMs. The HSBC-branded ATMs are expected to be installed by June.
The move follows HSBC's expansion into the state which began in June 2005 with its first branch in Hillside 10 months ago. The bank has plans to continue its New Jersey expansion throughout 2006 with additional branches opening soon in towns including Summit, Ridgewood, Westfield and Freehold. - Shankar P.
