Law firm merger
The Somerset County law firm Norris McLaughlin & Marcus said it had acquired a New York firm, pushing its attorney ranks over 100.
The Somerville-based firm took over Szold & Brandwen, officials said. Four of the firm's attorneys came on as members and three others joined as associates.
"The merger adds significant real estate, financing and litigation expertise," said John Eagan, managing partner of Norris McLaugh lin.
