LG Electronics USA Names New President

LG Electronics today announced the appointment of Soon H. Kwon to president of the LG Electronics USA Digital Appliance Division in Englewood Cliffs. Kwon has worked at LG for 22 years, most recently serving as president of LG Electronics-Canada. He succeeds Teddy Hwang, who is returning to LG's headquarters in Seoul, South Korea, where he is being promoted to an executive vice president post.

In his new position, Kwon is responsible for all branded home appliance-related activities, including sales, marketing and logistics. Kwon received his bachelor's of arts degree in economical statistics from Sung Kyun Kwon University in Seoul. - Martin C. Daks
