HOBOKEN, NJ-Toll Brothers City Living and Pinnacle Downtown continue their work on Maxwell Place on the Hudson, a mixed-use redevelopment of the former Maxwell House coffee manufacturing plant. Now the partners have handed out the leasing assignment for the retail and office components.
Andrew Goldberg, Eric Gelber and Gary Ford of CB Richard Ellis’ Tri-State Region Retail Services Group will handle the 100,000-sf retail component, while CBRE’s Adam Foster will be in charge of leasing the office space.
On the retail side, “this project brings a new retail environment to the Hoboken riverfront,” Goldberg says. “In a market known for smaller retail shops, the space at Maxwell Place is an opportunity for larger-format restaurants and other retailers.”
The initial phase of the project is slated to be ready by mid-2006. Besides the retail and office components, the built-out project will also include 800 residences.
