THOROFARE, NJ-ACC Food Corp., a manufacturer and distributor of Asian specialty foods, has acquired an 80,000-sf facility at 280 Jessup Rd. Chef Solutions, a Schaumberg, IL-based food processor was the seller. The company had been using the building for baked goods production and distribution in the Northeast.

The seller was represented by Bill Goodwin, an executive vice president with CB Richard Ellis in that firm's Philadelphia office. ACC Food Corp. was represented by Eustis Wolfington, a Grubb & Ellis broker. The sale price was not disclosed, but industry sources put the price tag in the $4-million range.

According to Goodwin, the building consists of about 41,000 sf of processing space, 15,000 sf of cooler/freezer space, a 7,900-sf maintenance area and 4,800 sf of dry warehouse space. The remaining space in the building is finished office space. The 11-acre site also has CSX/Norfolk-Southern rail service.
