New Brunswick Scientific Taps New CFO
Thomas E. Bocchino, 46, has been appointed vice president, finance and CFO at New Brunswick Scientific (Nasdaq: NBSC). He replaces Samuel Eichenbaum, who will retire on January 31 after 21 years with the company.
New Brunswick Scientific, an international manufacturer of research equipment and scientific instruments, has its world headquarters on Talmudge Road in Edison. Founded in 1946, the company also has offices throughout Europe and China.
For the past five years, Bocchino worked as CFO for IVC Industries, where he handled financial reporting, internal control and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. He worked at IVC as a controller from 1990 to 1997. New Brunswick Scientific stock fell $0.04 to $7.00 in afternoon trading. - Brian Quinlan
