Mikron Infrared Signs 32,000-SF HQ Lease

OAKLAND, NJ-Mikron Infrared, a maker of thermal imaging products, has signed a lease for 32,000 sf within the 44,500-sf industrial building at 16 Thornton Rd. here. The building is owned by ProLogis, and the remaining 12,500 sf of the asset is currently listed as available.


Mikron is using the space as its corporate headquarters, as well as for sales, support, engineering and manufacturing functions. In the transaction, the terms of which were not released, the tenant was represented by Jeff Rosenberg and Trevor Patterson of Grubb & Ellis, Fairfield. ProLogis was represented in-house.

The Mikron deal was the largest of three New Jersey leases recently arranged by Grubb & Ellis brokers. In the others, Patterson represented Future Electronics in the leasing of 3,107 sf of office space at 949 Route 46 in Parsippany. And in Lyndhurst, Nyfix Inc., an electronic trading services company, was represented by G&E’s Jeff Kolodkin in the leasing of 2,150 sf of office space at Fairfield Business Properties’ 1099 Wall St. West.
